The UR7300 ‘SIMPA’ unit is an academic research laboratory at the University of Lorraine. It comprises immunologists, microbiologists and neurobiologists studying together the impact of chronic socio-environmental or gravitational stresses on the immune system, the nervous system and microbiota.

Our work benefits from the national and international recognition gained in space immunology by the unit, our complementary approaches and knowledge, and a very favorable environment as we are part of the Biology-Medicine-Health pole from our University and we have access to the performant technological platforms from the Federation of Research FR3209 (e.g. next generation sequencing, flow cytometry, cell sorter...).
