Etude de la pathologie iatrogénique médicamenteuse au service d'accueil des urgences du Centre hospitalier universitaire de Nancy: enquête rétrospective sur une période de un an

Abstract : This work describes and comments the results of retrospective study made on some patients treated at the emergency department for a suspected symptom of medicinal iatrogenic. During 1 year, 225 clients file, have been included on this study (0,6% of the treated patient in this department). 50% of these patients had more than 57 old. The sex ratio was 0,73. The dermatological, neuropsychiatric, and otorhinolaryngologic symptoms were representing more than half of the indexed undesirable causes. The more frequent symptoms, all kinds of organs mixed, was the medicinal hemorrhage. An hospitalization was needed for 31% of the patients. More than fourth of the patients was taking 7 medicines or more. The most often medicinal groups incriminated were the antisludge (10,5%), the antihypertensive (10,5%), the NSAID (9,5%) and the oral anticoagulant (9%).
