Sport et Intégration en Club Sportif Ordinaire

Abstract : The Act of February 11, 2005 on "equal rights and opportunities" was a turning point in the live of disabled people. Now, sport for all development has become a national priority. It is a question of set up an opportunity of sport practices for disabled persons, equal in the sports offer for non disabled person. Disabled person must be placed in the center of project because it is the only one who knows what it needs and what it wants. That?s why the Sports Club La Vespière Orbec Basketball, located in Calvados it plans to open a wheelchair basketball section in his club. One objective of the club is "to develop the sport for all". The goal is to provide opportunities for disabled athletes to have the choice to practice or not. To establish a methodology for integration of disabled sports in ordinary club, we are focused on: analysis of actors, political and sports context and the various interactions between logic disability sport and traditional sport. Without forgetting accessibility that the practice requires an access within sports equipment, but also the means to get there.
