Analyse diachronique de l’effet des pratiques agricoles sur les communautés végétales halophiles de la vallée de la Seille (Moselle - 57)

Abstract : Salt meadows are habitats of priority interest at European level because they have a particularly richness marine flora in a continental context. The study area is located in the southeast of the department of Moselle (57) in Lorraine, 30 km North from Nancy and 50 km southeast of Metz, in the upstream part of the Seille’s basin. Since the 1960s, studies of these environments are made, particularly by CENL and PNRL. The purpose of this study was to highlight the part of explanation of agricultural practices in the development of salt meadows of the Seille Valley, from the data collected since 1960 for surveys phytosociological and 1995 for permanent devices. our study concerns 3 halophilic groups that are Cerastio dubii - Juncetum gerardi J. Duvign. 1967 (CJG) Agropyro repent - Juncetum gerardi J. Duvign. 1967 (AJG) Festuco arundinaceae - Caricetum distantis J. Duvign. 1967 (FCD). Alongside this diachronic study, the establishment of a phenological monitoring aimed to question the mowing date (1 July) to answer a demand of the agricultural world. This study allows to give some conclusions from several years of monitoring and provides monitoring of potential changes in the vegetation studies of continental salt meadows.
