Développer l’activité de Clearstream sur les marchés de la zone Asie-Pacifique
Abstract
My end-of-education internship took place in Clearstream Banking, in Luxembourg. More precisely, I have had the opportunity to work in the section Pricing & Account Planning, which is part of the Business Management department. This team, whose head is M.Manuel Schmit, has the responsibility to control and protect the revenues of the bank by pricing the products and services proposed. Among its assignments, there is the maintenance of the clients account system, the implementation of special pricing conditions for some customers, the coordination of budget plans, the creation of forecasts and the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis. This internship consisted in a practical experience. It allowed me to discover and understand one of the mechanisms of the financial sphere. I had to deal with various tasks as, for instance, carrying out pricing simulations and costs & trends analysis. My main mission consisted in a comprehensive study of our activity in the Asia-Pacific markets. I have had to find explanations and solutions to improve our market share in these countries. This experience has been very rewarding. It led me to meet many people from different teams, and learn multiple things. It was the opportunity for me to apply in concrete situations the theoretical knowledge gained during my education.
I really enjoyed the time spent in Clearstream and would advise anyone to apply for this placement for the next years. I am very thankful for the opportunity that was given to me and the doors it opened for my career
