De la mise en défense au déclassement d'un territoire : vers une réappropriation de l'empreinte militaire dans la région de Dijon - Langres

Abstract : Abstract : This article presents the restructuring of space militarized with three cities in the East of France: Dijon, Auxonne, Langres. A geohistorical approach reminds this landscape construction with a stack of defence structures. Fortifications and military buildings show several patterns of development. The geostrategic upheavals and the redeployment of the regiments led to a questioning of this organization with the decommissioning of these garrison towns. Local political actors engage in conversion and heritage projects to offer new perspectives in these urban areas. However, the specificities of these towns and the quality of the military to convert sites differ and today offer multiple forms of restructuring.
