Simulation of Doppler backscattering off filaments in the Globus-M spherical tokamak

Abstract : In this paper we present the results of two-dimensional full wave simulations of Doppler backscattering (DBS) from filaments in slab geometry. For simulation we have used a substitutional model of a filament of a Gaussian cross-section. The comparison of the simulation results and experimental data obtained at the tokamak Globus-M was performed.
