Dynamics of pulse-width-modulated DC motor drive with LC-filter at power input port
Abstract
The paper consists of studying the PWM DC motor drive interaction with LC- input filter at its power input port. A comparison between small-signal modeling results and results of bifurcation analysis is presented. Results of discussion about the possible practical application of criteria derived from small-signal analysis are also presented. In the numerical example of DC traction, motor drive, both qualitative and quantitative results are given to correctly choose input filter parameters.
