A Modified Active-Switched Quasi Z-Source Inverter for Photovoltaic Systems

Abstract

This paper presents a modified active-switched quasi Z-source inverter (MAS-qZSI). The proposed topology offers a higher boosting capability with fewer numbers of components and less voltage stress on switches. To validate the viability of the proposed converter, some simulations are performed in Matlab Simulink environment.
