Calix[4]arènes organisateurs de principes actifs antibiotiques : Synthèse et caractérisation

Abstract : Targeting a prodrug or multidrug dispenser behaviour, we have prepared a series of podands based on a calix[4]arene platform and one or more known antiinfectious drugs, such as penicillins, quinolones or amphotericin B. We have developped the synthetic strategies and processes of molecules in which the drug moieties are bound to the calixarene by amide or ester labile junctions. We have prepared various derivatives integrating either two identical penicillins, quinolones or polyenes, or two different penicillins or quinolones, as weil as one penicillin and one quinolone. Due to the presence of various substitutions, of chiral groups and of possible conformers, the structural complexity of such podands was investigated by COSY, HSQC and HMBC 20 NMR techniques.
