Mise en oeuvre de modèles discrets du comportement mécanique de structures tissées

Abstract : aPredictive models of mechanical behavior of the textile materials are developed, starting from the scale of a single yarn. Based on a mass-spring discrete approach, the model allows the study of the yarn?s stability and deformed shape. Two mass-spring discrete models of woven structures have been developed from macro/meso approaches. The macro approach built from a mass-spring network, describes the fabric mechanical behavior at the scale of a unit cell, and predicts the stability and draping behaviour. The equilibrium shape of the structure subjected to its own weight and to the traction applied on its edges is obtained as the minimum of the total potential energy. The mesoscopic approach explicitly accounts for the yarn undulations and the interactions between yarns. The deformation of the woven structure due the change of yarn undulation and yam extension under uniaxial and biaxial traction simulations are evidenced, as well as the impact of the mechanical parameters of both yarns.
