Conception et modélisation d'une électrobroche grande vitesse : résolution de problèmes couplés

Abstract : This work deals with the design and modelling of a high speed electrospindle. This study of the motor's dynamics is led so as to better describe the vibratory behavior associated to a given combination of geometry and materials, without being constrained by the finite-elements method. The vibratory behaviour of a single rotor element is modelled. Such an approach allows us to further predict the dynamics of a rotor for which several elements are linked to increase spindle power. The dynamics study has shown the importance of the choice of the material making the magnetic core in the rotor's vibratory behavior. We have modelled the maximal mechanical stresses to which the magnetic core is submitted, we have discussed the appropriate choice of the magnetic material. We have studied on the electrospindle bearings whose stiffness matrix largely determines the dynamic model. The calculation of the ball bearing's stiffness matrix requires the development of explicit models including five degrees of freedom. These models take into account on the one hand, the contact angles in a ball bearing and, on the other hand, the force-displacement relationships, using the theory of Hertzian contact. The friction torque is also modelled and predetermined.Finally, the thermal modelling of the motor has been realized in order to connect the internal losses to the temperatures distribution and to know the maximal temperature depending on the conditions of use. The functioning area has been determined in terms of bearings' lives, the highest temperature that the motor can bear and the first vibration frequency.
