Vibration et stabilité des longues structures flexibles à forme répétitive

Abstract : We study the vibration and stability of long flexible structures exhibiting a repetitive pattern. More precisely, we are interested in determination of the eingenvalues taking account the repetitive form of these structures. For this aim we develop a two scales method to compute the eigenmodes, which splits the original problem into local problems and overall ones. The local problems are modal problems on a few basic cells with periodicity conditions. The global problems are the amplitude equations. We have considered two test problems : the first is a model of long structures without basic cell, for which we determine about ten critical buckling loads with a good precision. The second is a model of the long flexible structures exhibiting a repetitive pattern, for which we obtain the good result on the beginning and the end of vibrational eigenfrequencies packet
