Abstract : A simple description of space-time and gravitation is obtained by using a strain tensor of space-time. This tensor is diagonal in a galilean frame with origin at the center of sun. The condition of Einstein for the variation of proper time to a quasi newtonian motion. The calculation of relativistic perturbations leads to a correct advance of the perihilies of the planets
