La traduction juridique bilingue français-allemand : problématique et résolution des ambiguïtés terminologiques

Abstract : Law terminology differs from other terminologies because of the plurality of legal systems; this involves an inadequacy of referential identity of the notions which can all be reduced to a definition. Translation of legal concepts from French into German implies the determination of primary terms, which lexical fields have to be studied in contrast with the help of lexical functions as they are defined by the linguist Igor Mel'cuk. The study of lexical fields constitutes the preliminary towards the conception of a contextual assistance in legal translation in form of a bilingual relational database French-German.
