La géothermie profonde « n’est pas mature » : parcours d’une formule-argument à l’Eurométropole de Strasbourg

Abstract : The public inquiries carried out in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg in the spring of 2015 on four deep geothermal energy projects have crystallised into a strong controversy. Opponents argued, among other things, that deep geothermal technology “is not mature”. This argument, borrowed from a scientist’s lecture, had circulated in various texts related to the public inquiries. The present article analyses the uses, itineraries and the challenges linked to this argument, which thus becomes a formula-argument.
