Spectrométrie d'absorption dans l'infrarouge

Abstract : Near, mid and far infrared absorption spectroscopy is presented for the beginner with a view toward analytical applications. Several aspects of the physics of the light-matter interaction are elucidated to provide understanding of the measurements. Recent, but not widely known, developments are ignored. Only Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) , the most currently used technique, is discussed. Sample handling procedures are examined as well.
