Abstract : Adaptability disorders is liable for 77% of discharges from service in 2008 and 98% in 2009. Most of discharged people are unlisted. It led us to observe the link between psychological suffering and military surrounding factors. The study is based on a prospectif collection from biographic and clinical informations concerning 132 patients, all unlisted, received in 2009 on HIA Legouest-Metz and 127 evidence people. The link between professional difficulties is verified. 62,87% patients and 37% evidence people allege professional difficulties. 25% is statistically significant with 98% power. Personal surrounding factors are not linked with patient?s suffering. The impact of relationship?s difficulties is so often observed that it leads us to analysis the underlying psychopathologies. 66,66% patients are suffering from troubles listed in axis 1 and 30% from troubles listed in axe 2. Those psychopathologies can be etiological but also symptomatic from adaptability trouble for anxious and depressive disorders. If adaptability disorders is revealing a maladjustment with military surrounding, it is also a revealing way from underlying psychopathologies prior to voluntary enlistment. A partnership betweenmilitary doctors and psychiatrists allow precocious care so as to reduce the discharge?s rate and not to hold patients, with a lack of resilience, in check
