Validation d'un score de risque de fracture ostéoporotique: Etude sur une population du bassin nancéen

Abstract : Our study aims at validating a score of osteoporotic fracture risk, detecting the persons at weak risk, to limit the research for osteoporosis.On a total of 1064 persons, 643 women and 421 men, aged 45 years and older, we compared the results of a questionnaire, established by the service of Endocrinology of the Professor Weryha in the Teaching Hospitalof Nancy, enter a population "case" represented by patients entering the Q.0.L . network, " for the Quality of Bone in Lorraine ", suffered fracture of weak energy during the last 6 months, and a population "witness" represented by patients consulting in the Centre of Preventive medicine of Nancy.It einerges that these scores, different according to the sex, allow to define suitably the risk of fracture, with an indication "c" from 0,85 for the women and 0,89 for men. The thresholds of 3 for the women and 5 forthe men obtain a negative predictive value respectively from 89 % and 83 %.If certain items could be again refined, this tool, simple and fast of use, allows to detect persons at weak risk of fracture, for whom the bone densitoinetiy could be postponed, consolidated possibly by the application of the score OST.
