Hépatite aurique cholestatique persistante: à propos d'une observation syndrome d'hypersensibilité aux sels d'or et relation avec le système HLA

Abstract : We report the case of an important cholestatic hepatitis with prolonged cholestasis following two injections of gold salts. We discuss the links between this hepatisis and gold salts. In the context of a hypersensitivity reaction to gold salts, our patient developed other toxic reactions : hemolytic anemia, proeinuria, asepteic meningitis, pancreatitis, stomatitis, colitis, exanthema...We studied the mechanism of drug-induced hepatitis and more specifically gold-induced immuno-allergic reactions. We made a brief review of the literature concerning the relation between various HLA antigens and gold-induced toxicity.
