La prise en charge des mineurs en médecine générale: situations et réflexions

Abstract : The patients of less than 18 years represent approximately a fifth of the consultations in general medicine. Their assumption of responsibility paramount and complex is thus had regard to their statute of minor. The relation between the attending practitionar and his young patient is singuliere just like that with the parents of this one. The good behaviour of the medical file and the health record is essential in particular for the normal follow-up. Thus a private individual is binding on us: teenagers. For them, health and the disease have a particular direction. They pose 2 principal problems : contraception and in particular the IVG on the one hand, and problems of mental health on the other hand. Certain situations are difficult from a medicolegal point of view: maltreatment with children and the refusaI of care. The medical majority is a concept possibly interressant to raise between authorities of health, pediatrists and general practitioners.
