Rendre la vaccination de l'enfant plus acceptable à l'aide d'une stratégie multifactorielle de prise en charge de la douleur : étude réalisée en médecine générale auprès de 239 enfants âgés de 5 à 12 ans

Abstract : Multiple vaccinations during infancy usually confer a substantial burden of painful experience. This study evaluated a new multifactorial approach aiming to improve vaccination-induced pain tolerance, in children aged 5 to 12 years old. 239 children included in the study by a network of general practitioners in Lorraine region : 107 in the study group and 139 in the control group. The strategy which is tested in the study consisted of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologie interventions and compared to the standard practice usually applied by the general practitioners.The results were statistically significant concerning the primary endpoint (self-report of the pain according to a Visual Analogue Scale, p=0,0002). A statistical significance was also reached for the secondary endpoints : Self-report according to the Faces Pain Scale (p=0,002), hetero evaluation according to CHEOPS Scale (p=0,0007) and hetero evaluation by the practitioner and one of the parents according to a Visual Analogue Scale (p
