Influence de l'âge et du type histologique sur la survie des patientes suivies pour un cancer invasif du col utérin : résultats de la cohorte prospective de 861 patientes traitées au Centre Alexis Vautrin de 1990 à 2003

Abstract : Introduction : Cervical cancer, which is a consequence of infection, is the second leading cause of cancer worldwide in women. Currently, several prognostic factors of cervical cancer are identified in the Iiterature. Some risk factors are still being discussed, such as patient' sage at diagnosis and tumor histological type. Objectives : Evaluate patient's age at diagnosis and tumor histology the as prognostic factors of primary invasive cervical cancer. Methods : We performed a prospective cohort study including 861 patients treated for cervical cancer between 1990 and 2003 at the Alexis Vautrin (Vandoeuvre-Iès-Nancy), FoIlow-up was conducted until 1 January 2009. Survival rates were calculated using the Kaplan-Meier survival curves and compared by the log-rank test. [...]
