Simulation numérique des écoulements dans les étuves

Abstract : I carried out my training period at a company FRANCE-ETUVE. The ovens are devices widely used for heating and drying the products in the industry. The comprehensive study of three-dimensional turbulent flow in an oven is very complex and requires powerful computer codes. We propose the numerical simulation of turbulent flow in an oven using a code FLUENT. This study is about the simulation of the turbulent flow of air in the ovens. This is achieved by using a turbulence models is, the model k-epsilon. With the help of the simulation, I studied the velocity vectors and the contour pressure of oven for choosing a centrifugal fan. We also design and improve the oven from the results of the simulation.
