Caractérisation d'hydrates dans différents milieux réactionnels

Abstract : Secondary refrigeration is a method using a neutral fluid in order to confine primary refrigerants and to reduce their quantities and thus their direct greenhouse gas emissions. Hydrate slurries can be used in secondary refrigeration thanks to their interesting characteristics, in particular their important energy density and their adapted equilibrium conditions. They can be used for cold storage, but also as two-phase secondary fluids. According to the required application, a specific configuration of the system containing hydrate is however necessary. Indeed, the characteristics of the system depend on the nature of the hydrates, their formation methods and their space arrangement. In this work, we used a calorimetry device in order to study the mass and energy properties of various hydrate-containing systems, presenting each one various possibilities of application.
