Analyse socio-culturelle et économique des sports de glisse urbains : les pratiquants et les skateparks

Abstract : Nowadays urban sliding sports are well fixed in the French economic and sports landscape. Even though it's originated from the streets, it is more and more practiced in indoors structures dedicated to its use: indoors skate parks. What are the athletics sociocultural origins ? What are their motives for practicing this sport and their expectations about the facilities to exercise their passion ? To answer to all these questions, we will observe closely the identities of its disciplines, sportsmen at a social, cultural and economic level. Finally, we will make a comparison study of covered skate parks in France. A classification of it, according to different criteria, will enable us to consider the "ideal" skate park which responds to the sportsmen's expectation as well as being an attractive place.
