Quantification and quality control of a small non-coding RNA preparation.

Abstract : Recent advances in high-throughput sequencing have shed some new light on the diversity of small non-coding RNA (sncRNA) classes and their crucial role in gene regulation and diseases. RNA quantification and control of RNA integrity are two key steps in sncRNA profiling. In this chapter, we will describe different gold standard methods used to achieve both purposes before the use of the RNAs in downstream applications.
