Importance de la pérennisation de la reconstitution du bocage en Bretagne : Exemple du programme Breizh bocage sur le bassin versant de l'Aulne

Abstract : The boscage is a man created landscape, related to agricultural practices. First used as fences, it presents various ecological functions: buffering effect, agricultural land hold, water purification, windbreaks, source of biodiversity, ecological corridor, source of energy. At the end of Word War II, agricultural practices know great changes. Modernization and mechanization of agriculture are the causes of the boscage decline. The boscage disappearance has lent to major ecological disruptions in Brittany. Facing theses facts, a boscage reforming program was set up in Brittany: the Breizh Bocage program. The purpose of this study is to appraise the sustainability of reforming measures, taking the example of the Aulne river catchment area application of the Breizh Bocage program.
