Amélioration du process d’identification des échantillons d’air et de surface dans eLIMS pour les matrices d’Hygiène Hospitalière

Abstract : The Eurofins Analysis for the Environment France laboratory at the Saverne receives different type of sample: Water, Soil, Air and Surface. When the microbiology laboratory receives the samples will record them in the production software eLIMS which allows a traceability of the sample from receipt to its validation. The laboratory has health institutions as clients that sends air and surface analyses for which identification is requested. The identification process needed improvement to gain time and an optimization of the report for the client through the creation of a ZM0AB test code. My improvements have enabled the implementation of an excel program allowing the technician after the addition of biochemical and phenotypic data to have instant identification result, the creation of a test code in the eLIMS software improves the traceability of post-count samples without "juggling" between the excel and the eLIMS software (for a small amount of sample). The development of a new identification process is being considered in the HH committee, I was able to compare a faster method in the realization with that applied in the laboratory but the results of identifications are not conclusive this method has not been adopted or validated by our laboratory. Despite the improvement of the process there must always be a vigilance regarding identification as proved by the non-compliant CIL, the important thing being also to find the malfunctions and correct them.
