Dynamique des mélanges fluides continus Part 1 : Applications d’une nouvelle formulation du deuxième principe de la thermodynamique

Abstract : Our objective is to demonstrate certain laws of physics and physico-chemistry, in the case of fluid mixtures by a continuous approach. For this, we will be led to reformulate the two principles of thermodynamics, and especially the second one. According to this principle, the volume production of entropy must be a sum of scalar products, scalar products of vectors and scalar products of matrices [1]. Since each of these scalar products must be maximum, in the case of vectors they must be collinear. This is how we demonstrate a number of laws, in particular of electromagnetism. To reach this goal, we have to add to the volume production of entropy terms that compensate each other, or even zero, but which show some coupling. We will also use the concept of thermodynamic invariance, particularly developed by Peter MAZUR [2], which we will explain in section 11.
