Mesurer la réalité fonctionnelle du Sillon lorrain : une lecture par les flux de mobilité domicile-travail

Abstract : In the wake of a territorial reform, that has profoundly transformed the regional map, the metropolitan question remains more central than ever in the political debate. In the Grand Est, the 'Metropolitan Pole' of Lorraine Corridor is no exception to these questions. Operational since 2012, the 'Pole' is one of the pieces of a deep 'territorial recomposition' that also saw the merger of Lorraine in this new regional group. The question, however, is whether the Lorraine Sillon, taken as a political project space, is based on a territorial reality. As everywhere else, mobility is one of the major challenges of local policies. The multipolarity through this entry of mobility that we explore the functional reality of this space. In addition certain 'metropolitan territoriality' between Nancy, Metz and Thionville, the study proposes a methodology that mobilizes data from commuting between agglomerations.
