La partance féminine vers l'Occident marocain. L'attractivité ambivalente d'une ville-monde. Le cas de Casablanca

Abstract : The female departure towards the Moroccan West The ambivalent attractiveness of a world-city The case of Casablanca In light of the life trajectories of young girls leaving for Casablanca, we made the bet to focus on the real, the situation of the woman or rather of the young rural girl who, by her past, her condition, her act of emigrating, her resourcefulness, allows us to have a view on the changing Moroccan society, to glimpse Morocco from the depths . This approach also sheds light on situations of poverty, prohibitions and constraints in a world-economy which chooses large cities as lands of choice and prosperity. From this point of view, Casablanca has all the characteristics of a world-city whose attractiveness is ultimately ambivalent.
