Laser-Assisted Electron Scattering and Ionization Processes in a Quasi-Sturmian-Floquet Approach
Abstract
Synopsis We demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of our recently formulated quasi-Sturmian-Floquet method to treat light-dressed electron states. For this purpose we study the archetypical processes such as laser-modified electron scattering on a Coulomb potential and laser-assisted electron-impact ionization of atomic hydrogen. For both processes we explore various regimes of laser radiation and identify the differences with respect to the corresponding laser-free situations.
