Decentralized Passivity-based control of two distributed generation units in DC microgrids
Résumé
Due to the increasing demand for renewable resources like PV panels, DC microgrids could be solution for environmental problems. In this paper, a new decentralized control method based on passivity control is proposed for two DC distributed energy sources supply the DC microgrid. Duo to the passivity definition, if each DG has passivity property, the passivity will be preserved in series or parallel connections. By implementing an interconnection and damping assignment passivity-based control (IDA-PBC), the stability of the whole system is preserved. Moreover, for the current sharing between the two power sources, droop voltage control is used. The proposed method is validated by the simulation results obtained from the system, in which a step load of 640 W to 1280 W is applied with an output voltage of 160 V.
