Contribution à l'étude de la machine asynchrone double étoile : modélisation, alimentation et structure

Abstract : Multiphase machines are increasingly used because of their advantages in term of better reliability and supply division. We propose to study a common example of these machines, the dual stator induction machine. The study deals with the important problem of stator circulating currents that occur when the machine is supplied by voltage source inverters. In first, the modelling enables to explain precisely the origin of these circulating currents in order to look for solutions that allow to minimise their magnitude. Then, the voltage source inverter with pulse width modulation is investigated and a novel space vector modulation technique, in a continuous and discontinuous version, is developed. Lastly, we take an interest in structural solutions with a more accurate study of stator leakage inductances, and propose novel winding configurations. The theoretical findings of this study are substantiated by experimental results obtained on a machine prototype realised along with the thesis.
