Synthèse et étude des propriétés physico-chimiques de nouvelles métallo-cyclodextrines

Abstract : This work deals with two aspects of the study of new Metallocyclodextrins. First of all, the "phosphine-imide" reaction was generalised to the synthesis of a new family of multichromophoric and multicomplexant supramolecular podands : URFT ureïdocyclodextrins (URFT =Upper Rim Fully Tethered) and URFT thioureïdocyclodextrins. Moreover, a new fast and reproducible synthesis of symmetrieally trifunctionnalised acyclodextrin was developed. Second of all, specific physicochemical properties related to selective metal coordination and complexation and to fluorescence properties of URFT ureïdocyclodextrins "rare earth" complexes were investigated. The new systems were found to have very selective and original coordination processes towards transition metals cations. "Rare earth" complexes fluorescence emission was found to be highly sensitive towards the presence of transition metals cations and small organic molecules.
