Systèmes de pilotage auto-organisés et gammes distribuées : méthode de conception et application à une machine-outil

Abstract : Nowadays manufacturing systems are expected to be more and more flexible. These demands lead to new control paradigms. One of them is self-organization. Self-organisation has emerged under differents names : multi-agent systems, holonics manufacturing systems, heterarchical systems and bionic manufacturing systems. But the se research areas are still young and there is a need for design methodology, as well as modeling and analysis of these control systems in order to lInderstand their behavior and performance limitations. We propose a design methodology based on distributed process plans and on analysis of the manufacturing system to control. The formalism enables to estimate the influence of the self-organised control system on the robustness and the reliablity of the whole. These estimations may help engineers in the specification of such control systems. The second part of our work concerns the study of the mix of automatic process planning with self-organised control system. We experimented the former control system with non-linear process plans on a special parallel machine-tool named Shiva, and showed that it leads to higher robustness of the system.
