Contribution à l'étude de la fermeture des équations de transport dans les milieux fractals

Abstract : In the context of forests fires modelling, we study mass and momentum transfers in the vegetation. A geometric model using fractal interpolation technique has been developed. A closure law for momentum equation deduced from extended irreversible thermodynamics is obtained. These law parameters are determined by a direct numerical simulation of the airflow through the tree structure. Finally, the penetration and the retention of liquid in the vegetation have been studied by a diphasic modelling and a new dripping model.
