Étude et réalisation de l'onduleur d'alimentation d'un moteur-roue pour véhicule électrique

Abstract : The group of research in Electrical Engineering and Electronics of Nancy, where this thesis was prepared, is interested more particularly in the electric chain of traction of a hybrid vehicle. The work presented in this memory relates to the study, the design and the realization of a voltage supply inverter intended for the feeding of a motor-wheel of 30 kW for electric vehicle. The study of the various supply structures of permanent magnet synchronous machines allowed choosing the best-adapted shape of the currents and thus the strategy of control. An outline on the evolution of the power switches brought to the choice of the adequate components for the considered application. Various technologies of manufacture of the IGBT's are exposed as well as the precautions to take at the time of the parallelization of these components. Engine supply intended for the traction of a vehicle led to significant momentary over currents, from where interest of a complete thermal study allowing to determine the cooling system independently of the internal phenomena of the components. A numerical test bench made it possible to simulate and test in real time the method of control of the inverter. The tests carried out in ALSTOM motors of Nancy on the converter-motor unit validated our study. An efficiency of the inverter exceeding the bar of the 95% consolidated all the efforts made during this work of thesis.
