Contribution à l'étude des propriétés de transport électronique d'alliages binaires liquides à base d'aluminium et de métaux de transition de la série 3d

Abstract : This thesis deals with the properties of electronic transport like resisitivity and absolute thermoelectric power (PTA) of liquid binary alloys founded on aluminium and transition metals of the serie 3d. The apparatus for PTA and resistivity measurements have been conceived taking account of the range of temperature studied (1000° C) and the high reactivity of aluminium against some refractory materials (cell of alumina, thermocouple copper-alumel). This research brings out the experimental values of PTA and resistivity of following dilued liquid alloys Al-Ti, Al-V, Al-Cr, Al-Mn, Al-Fe, Al-Co, Al-Ni, Al-Cu, in order to discuss and interpret them on the basis of the virtual bound states. With the exception of the alloys Al-Cu and Al-Mn this theory predicts the general outliness of the variations in residual resistivity and PTA of these alloys in relation to their position in the periodic classification
