La forme du développement de l'intelligence opératoire chez l'enfant de 4 à 9 ans

Abstract : This research analyses the results of a longitudinal study. The intellectual development of 104 children has been observed five years along. They have been given on five occasions from 4; 6 to 8; 6 the same set consisting of 25 classical piagetian tests. Chapters 1 to 5 deal with theory and methodology, next ones analyze the results with special emphasis on the behaviors' development in process of time as a conclusion, and an artificial data simulation is disclosed. The following statements are then carried out; behaviors' variability is large; individual "decalages" are frequent and poorly structured; from year to year, the subject's patterns of responses do not prove stable. The behaviors' organizations do not disclose the expected theoretical issues or genetic filiations. The explanation of the frequently observed collective "decalages" should rely on a problem's analysis which overcomes the initial theoretical frames. According to the author, two models should provide a deeper understanding of these "decalages”: Gentzen's natural deduction's theory and case's structures of control's theory.
