A la recherche de matériaux organiques pour l'optique non linéaire : synthèse de 2,5-diaryl thiophènes, de thiéno3,2-b thiophènes et de leurs analogues sélénies

Abstract : The synthesis of 2,5-diaryl thiophenes and selenophenes are described in the first part. Ageneral method of synthesis is used starting from beta-aryl-beta-chloro acroleins, sodium sulfide and selenide and various substituted benzyl bromides. Association of donnor and attractor groups is used for introducing polarization in the molecule. It has been shown that exist a correlation between Hammettt's sigma values and the maximum absorption wavelength. Also a bathochromic effect exist when going from thiophene to selenophene series. In a second part, new 2-aryl thieno [3,2-b]thiophenes are presented. Their synthesis are described and compared using palladium catalysed reactions and intramolecular cyclisation reactions
