Forest management and species composition: a historical approach in Lorraine, France.

Abstract : This chapter presents the study of forest history in France, including historical forest uses and their consequences for forest management. The chapter also discusses the making of the technical and legislative framework, along with the consequences of forestry policies for forest composition in the woodlands of Lorraine.
