Abstract : Taking care of the severely traumatized patient should follow accurate and rigorousrecommendations particularly in rural ares where delivery time requires an optimal handling of the patient. A retrospective study conducted in Meuse for the year 2009, has identified all patient aged over 15 years and potentially serious trauma. 75 patients included in the study, only 27 met the definition of the polytraumatied.Their management was in line with the recommendations set for the use of vasopressors and indication of primary transfer. Of the 24 interventions located more than 20 kilometers from the outset SMUR, the SAMU called the MCS only five times. One-third of interventions have held more than 20 kilometers from the SMUR basis. These elements must lead us to think of the first aid organization in the departement of the Meuse
