Projet collaboratif pilote pour la tenue du registre calédonien du rhumatisme articulaire aigu

Abstract : Due to its health and social consequences, acute rheumatic fever is one of public health priorities of New Caledonia. Prevention of recurrence and complications is through antibiotic prophylaxis over a period of, at least, ten years, that test patient compliance and coordination of professionals, little awareness of the concept of health monitoring. This project was to develop an information sharing tool to meet this challenge. Professionals volunteers in the public sector were trained and supported for input. Data for monitoring the project were collected from the extractions from the application (data connections), patient records and through self administered questionnaires. The processing of data was made from a reference tool for assessment and SAS software. The results show a better involvement of professionals in the health surveillance system, improved coordination of care and an increase in patient compliance. Praised, the project will be extended to all volunteers professionals.
