Chéilorhinoplastie secondaire et prise en charge secondaire des séquelles de fentes labio-maxillo-palatines unilatérales Revue de la littérature et protocole de Nancy

Abstract : Introduction: Management of unilateral cleft lip and palate continues to improve for over a century. However, primary repair, even in the best hands, is subject to the vagaries of facial growth. The sequel is compulsory because of the congenital deformity and the primary repair. Materials and methods: Our study focuses on a review of the literature from the database of the NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) over a period of 30 years. We have analyzed: - 37 articles based on secondary rhinoplasty, - 18 articles based on secondary cheiloplasty, - 3 articles based on secondary cheilorhinoplasty Allowing us to show the state of the art of the cleft lip/nose revisions. We then present the University Hospital of Nancy protocol to compare the surgical approach, using 5 cases, with the current data. Conclusion: Many techniques have been proposed in the management of the secondary unilateral oral clefts and a clear consensus is not yet established. We propose an original technique based on the secondary cheilorhinoplasty experience of the University Hospital of Nancy team.
