L'influence de la pratique de la danse contemporaine sur le Concept de soi global chez des adolescentes de 12 à 14 ans

Abstract : At first, our research task has consisted to check an intuition : the practice of contemporary dance helps teenagers to live better their adolescence and so improve of their "global self". Through the analysis of some concepts such as adolescence, global self, self-esteem and contemporary dance, we will try to show how and why these concepts can be linked. Contemporary dance is a physical practice in which the whole body is questioned about his role in the self-esteem?s construction of teenagers who practice it. Furthermore, it's during this time of adolescence that girls build their selfesteem, they compare themselves to others, their pairs in the aim of building a positive global self. Subsequently, our work, through half-structured interviews, led us to confirm to some extend our first intuition.
