Etude de la connectivité entre des friches urbaines

Abstract : The growing urbanization causes the fragmentation of natural habitats and a fall of biodiversity. In the aim to conserve or create ecological corridors between patches, the green and blue ways have been implemented. Applied to urban areas, those ways rarely take into account the wastelands. One of the DUE project’s goal is to analyze the connectivity between urban wastelands to integrate them in the green and blue ways. 168 wastelands of the agglomerations of Blois and Tours (France) have been studied in order to find correlations between functional and structural connectivity. Structural connectivity corresponds to the least-cost-path between wastelands obtained either using a land cover map or an NDVI map. NDVI maps could be of different resolutions or taken at different days during the year. We did not find any difference between NDVI maps at different day or at different resolution, there is also no difference between land cover map and NDVI maps. On the other hand better correlations can be observe when we studies groups of wastelands according to their characteristics (surface and/or typology). We should go further in this direction by studying wastelands which share the same characteristics.
