Participation aux missions sites et sols pollués

Abstract : Nowadays, the environment has become a major issue within the population. Indeed, given that France has a heavy industrial past, environmental policy applied within the country has evolved in the context of rehabilitation of brownfield sites. Control Offices such as SOCOTEC may be mandated to meet the demands of the customer to determine whether a site is potentially contaminated. This report is a summary of the training conducted in SOCOTEC in HSE Montpellier. Following the presentation of this company, I put forward the projects I have been involved and which are most representative of my work at SOCOTEC during the 6-month internship. Each mission is detailed and some is dedicated to my personal involvement. To better understand the work, a simplified diagnosis of polluted sites and soils is put forward to conclude this summary.
