Modélisation 3D du procédé d'infusion

Abstract : The course focuses on the numerical simulation of the liquid resin infusion process for the preparation of composite materials. The work is carried out using boundary element methods softwares programmed in Matlab®. The first software simulates the infusion in 3D parts using Darcy's law. It allows among others to determine the points of injection of the resin. Two seconds simulate flow across the fiber due to Stokes' law. They can highlight the phenomena at the microscopic scale and measure the permeability through a representative elementary volume. The latter simulate heat transfer in heterogeneous environment using the equation of transient heat by the dual reciprocity method (DRM) or by the method of proper generalized decomposition (PGD).
